The good news is I have been drawing and have several new pieces to paint.

The bad news is I obviously haven’t posted anything here in awhile and still have to play catch up to all the stuff I’ve already painted.

I plan on doing that in the coming days because I am trying to get back on track. Life takes me away from this and then I will forget about the account and then I’ll remember and be like “ack!”

So, stay tuned to some more stuff in the coming weeks. And I have to say, my recent drawings are pretty good if I do say so myself. I’m going to take a photo of the drawing and post it before I paint. I am hoping the painted product will turn out as nicely as I have it in my head. But it might be a total flop.

What I have done is I have drawn pretty much the entire scene onto the watercolor paper. Shadings and all. It will either look great, or look horrible, so that is why I’m going to do before and afters. It will certainly be different than what I have done in the past.

I am having such a kick with the drawing side, that I am neglectful to pull my paints out or take the time now that I have it to put postings up here. I just keep thinking of image after image to put to paper. Too bad I’m not a quick artist, it would be convenient.

So be on the look out and check back twice a month or so. I won’t update daily or likely even weekly, but I am going to try and update twice a month from now on.
